Slik U-5500 Compact Tripod with Quick Release
This is probably one of the most inexpensive tripods I have owned. Its very light and just barely fits into a medium sized messenger backpack I have. For shooting cityscapes and nighttime in fair weather it works well. At some point I will definately upgrade. Theres nothing really wrong with this tripod it just feels cheap. But it is super cheap, so who can complain?

this tripod is terrible. I can hold the camera steadier in my hands. at $22.99 it is about $34.89 to expensive. I can not describe how flimsy this is, it is not even worth buying it as a throw in the trunk emergency backup tripod (which is what I bought it for).
